The E·S·I·E·A - Foundation brings expertise on crisis & disaster management to wherever in the World necessary. We can make a match between international projects related to crisis & disaster management and other security related risks with, primarily, Dutch experts. If a match has been made we can send an expert for participation in short-term projects from generally two up to a maximum of four weeks.
We do this by a unique concept in which we service and support, unpaid, professionals who are competent experts in the field of crisis & disaster management. Professionals with the fundamental attitude to invest in own personal (management) development and solving humanitarian needs.
Our targets are to realize lasting sustainable solutions and to celebrate the success of a project.
E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation commits this form of development cooperation on worldwide measure with the exception of Northern-America and Canada. To take the leap worldwide is of course huge. Therefore we will start inch by inch with our experience extension, from contacts which we already have, in Eastern Europe and Asia.
We think different, share knowledge differently and realize durable solutions together with you! Our people can improvise out of professionalism, exchange ideas as best-practices, coach, advise or in needed teach.
That's the support and help the E·S·I·E·A - Foundation can offer.
Of course we also aim, just like those well-known aid organizations, at ‘development cooperation' and ‘humanitarian aid'. The ways that we do deviates generally from the approach which you know from newspapers, radio and television.
