Media images of large calamities, disasters and crises show us that cooperation and sharing expertise between people and organizations in practice just works. Hands on mentality and just do the job. If this is obvious and recognizable for everyone why don't we take the next step and take that cooperation and expertise, to work with in the path before a large calamity or for example in rebuilding after a disaster. Of course mainly worldwide well-known organizations with a treasure of experience are active in the source area, the epicenter, of a calamity. Our foundation is no competitor to these organizations. We want also by no means to become a competitor.
Everything, from a solid attitude that we don't have a monopoly of wisdom and from an open mentality of wanting to learn personally as well. Show willingness to share our experience, exchanging best-practices ideas, coaching or perhaps instructing. That is the dedication, assistance and support of E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation.
The efforts are creative durable solutions for higher security, and generate risk- and crisis management for people. Another way of emergency supportive aid.. No money but creative expertise. A working method which is pro-active, preventive, preparative, reactive, and also aimed at reliable recovery and long term improvements.
If our experts should operate or act at the resonance phase of a calamity than it will be in the outlying area, the periphery of that calamity. That is safer for our experts and they will achieve more and faster results.

The E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation matches international projects in the field of increase of security, calamity suppression and crisis control with national experts. A sort of secondment or brokers office as you like. From these matches a professional can, on behave of E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation, be transmitted for participation to short-term projects of generally two or up to four weeks. E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation commits this form of development cooperation on worldwide measure with the exception of Northern-America and Canada. To take the leap worldwide is of course huge. Therefore we will start inch by inch with our experience extension, from contacts which we already have, in Eastern Europe and Asia.
E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation was founded on February 29, 2008 and is, by disposal of 13th May 2008 (filenumber 55279), since the first of January 2008 considered as a " General Use Intended Institution" (Algemeen Nut Beoogde Instelling - ANBI -) and therefore all gifts to our foundation are tax deductable.
