1.The foundation aims at:

Offering development possibilities and aid in the field of calamities and security on a worldwide scale.

 

2. The foundation tries to get to its goals by;

a. Sharing expertise, by using specialists and if necessary with resources for the preparation of and/or effective commitment at international emergency aid and improvement (rebuilding) to organizations and/or groups in areas where to expect calamities, or were calamities or disaster happened.

b. Giving recommendation and information (advice) on the territory of calamities, security and rebuilding;

c. Setting up education programs (opportunities program) on the territory of calamities, security and rebuilding;

d. Offering education on the territory of calamities, security and rebuilding;

e. Preparing and implementation of aid programs at places where according to the expectations calamities are possible, or happened (occurred), primarily aimed at the periphery of the calamity;

f. Offering readjustment at places where calamities occurred, primarily aimed at the periphery of the calamity;

g. Checking aid programs in areas where calamities occur or have occurred;

h. Evaluating the functioning of aid programs in areas where calamities occur or happened .

i. Building a network of aid programs concerning calamities, security and rebuilding;

j. Giving readings, workshops and seminars;

k. Acquiring money and if necessary (humanitarian)aid goods aimed by active acquisition at sponsoring and donation,

as well as doing all things necessary, which keep link with the above mentioned, in the widest sense or to this end favorable can be.

How do we accomplish the target practically? 

The experts of E·S·I·E·A ® Foundation work individualy or if possible in small teams. They provide their service at, and work together with local authorities and/or institutions for a period of two till the maximum of four weeks.  They have to work in their own way and within the present possibilities. The men and women who will work through our foundation are catalysts, motivators, coaches, trainers or re-newers in thinking and working processes of the country that they are working in. Men and women who will give  surplus values. In these situations counts.' two know more than one'. Money will not be provided as aid. Only in exceptional cases, experts will take action during a calamity or disaster.

 

What activities will the experts that are dispatched do?

 

This actually varies and will extend, as we expect, in the future.  The principle is and remains the own basic skill in which the experts shine out  and in his or her daily work is renowned. He or she will be matched with a requested project. It doesn't matter from which territory that request comes. Whether it is connected with 'usual' development of safety, or  related with disaster relief and crisis control at earthquakes, Tsunami's, floods, volcano outbursts, fires, drought, environmental pollution, infectious diseases, pandemics, calamities on the territory of (chemical) industry, aeronautics (air traffic), shipping or train incidents ór post project assistance or recovery. Also operational and administrative crisis management can be a part of all this. Many specialistic backgrounds of our professionals are useful as we will see in future and will, step by step, put into practice.
