 01-02-2011The ESIEA-Foundation tries to start up a project in Beregowo (Beregszász, Ukraine) and asked the SBOS, part of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today for funding. The project-title is: Beregowo Emergency - Aid & - Reduction Solutions (BEARS-Ukraine). General info click here.
The small scale development project ‘BEARS - Ukraine' offers for the emergency service and the inhabitants of the municipality of Beregowo a sustainable innovation of disaster and emergency control but also better prevention and aftercare. By deploying materials, training and generating information activities, citizen involvement and behavioral change will be obtained and a broader spin-off can be expected. |

 08-05-2011The 8th of May a mid-term evaluation took place about the projects, started up from the year 2000 till now, at the privat house of the Herzogenrath (Germany) fire-chief Bernd Hollands. ESIEA is asked to think along and possibly support the regional crisis and disaster organisation of the Romanian Bistrita-Nasaud with standardisation of workprocedures in crisis and disastermanagement. Furtheron by thinking along the setting up of training and excercise facilities for the region.  15-11-2011Yesterday we received further information about progress of our BEARS-project; Beregszász Emergency-Aid & - Reduction Solutions (Sustainable calamity support innovations, prevention & aftercare Beregszász emergency service) from the projectleader Marten Geerse. First materials, most organized with help of the ESIEA-Foundation, arrived the emergency service of Beregowo (Beregszász) the 10th of August 2011. Together with the help of the Dutch Stichting Oosteuropa Zending the project will go on but step by step. The ESIEA-Foundation will monitor and help, within possibilities an when necessary in the future. |

 14-12-2011Our chairman, who was the CEO of the Safety region Zeeland (NL) quit with his job and takes a sabattical leave. Because of reorganization the CEO function in the new organization does not continue from the 17th October 2011. Because of this there was a farwell & transition meeting the 14th of December 2011 as a fundraising for the ESIEA-foundation.
